Hello all,

My neighbor Echo saved a baby bunny from a cat down the street yesterday. The bunny had a few scrapes but seems to be alright otherwise. We are nursing it back to health and will let it go in a better area soon. I also have baby robins in my back yard. I saw the mom feeding them today and the best I can tell there are 3 little mouths for her to feed.  I have more pictures of the felting Celtic bag to be. The best news ever Sheryl put her felted carpet bag in the washer last night. Keep your fingers crossed that everything went according to plans. I am, sure it is fine but Sheryl doesn’t sound as confident as I do about  her felting. You should see her lace work now that is where her heart is when it comes to knitting. All I can say is BEAUTIFUL work!!!! I’m so excited to see her bag felted and finished.

Hello all,
I was just checking in with you to say hello. Loopy Ewe Knit Night was small last night but it was still a great group. I picked up my yarn for the Camp Loopy and I can’t wait to get started. Soon but at least I can still pet it from time to time. Sheryl like the leather for her carpet bag and I was glad to get my hands on it. I am thankful the Loopy came to Colorado this gives closet knitters like myself a place to get out and make new friends. Come by the Loopy,pull up a chair and make a friend. If the drive is more than you want to do for one night of knitting why no come by once a year I promise it’s worth the trip. No I don’t work for the Loopy if that is what you are thinking but I do enjoy hanging out there from time to time.
What are you knitting for the Camp Loopy? What yarn are you using? Will I get to see your pretty work? I hope so! Here are my colors, can you guess what I am making?

It has been suggested I should learn more about the yarn I am knitting. You know Sheri you are right I have been skating by just by saying it’s pretty. What will I say when someone wants the same brand of yarn I am using? Go to the Loopy Ewe and ask for the pretty yarn, you laugh but that will work because I do that every Thursday knit night.

I just wanted to let everyone know I’ll be not be around for a little bit. A very dear friend of the family has passed suddenly and I am not able to think about anything else. The tears won’t stop. My head remembers the fun things but my heart hasn’t caught up yet. Chuck you will be missed more that you will ever know. For those of you out there reading this I hope you can find a special repacement family figures and friend as we did when we met Chuck and Diana. Diana you have always been strong and your strength with love from friends and family will be there for you in this time. When we spoke you told me you had 50 great years with Chuck and what a treasure that is.  I have my pictures and the pencil holder Chuck gave me which will help me through. No more pain, no more fatigue, no more days of mowing the lawn. I’ll always think of you when I see a beaver  or smell fresh cut grass. Rest in Peace my friend.

I have been knitting and gardening today, while the dog relaxes in the cool grass. Only the toes of the one sock to go and I can wear them. Yepee!!! Back to the Steamer Purse after the socks but I was really glad to get a break. I have a picture the is a seek and find. You are looking for the rabbit.

It’s the hateful old lady next dooir again. My neighbor is driving me crazy, his dog is aggressive toward all males and our yards are joined. I have ask and his wife agrees we should look to make sure the other person it not out with there pets. Her husband on the other hand is the most inconsiderate person I have ever met in my life. His dog has scratched my car by jumping up on it, ate my flowers last year, broke the screen door, dug up my new grass seed this year already, and jumped on my dog while I was walking him on a leash. Am I being hateful or should I just move. I want to move away so bad I can’t stand it. I am going to put up a sign on my door DON’T ASK BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE ANY, I DONT’ WANT ANY AND I DON’T CARE WHAT YOUR NAME IS. I long for the good old days when you could be friends without them always putting you on the defensive. You know when a friendship was 50/50 or pretty close. Where is my Calgon?

I have been friends with his wife for a long time now and I take better care of her than her family but I woundering if the friendship is worth all the hassle. I guess only time will tell. This time I am not giving in. Tears of anger is the best thing I can offer right now. I’m so mad I could just screem. HATEFUL OLD WOMAN SIGNING OUT FOR TODAY.

I just couldn’t stand it, I had to show someone the progress on the Felted Celtic Bag. This bag is going to be twice as big as the Felted Carpet Bag.

At this point I think it will be made into a steamer bag style. I am knitting with Kauni yarn purchased at the Loopy Ewe. Boy is this small yarn and I am having to work on 0 needles. The experts tell me this won’t felt, but that is what they said about the Felted Carpet Bag. Keep your fingers crossed. I’ll let you know how it goes when it;s finished.
